HAUSAUFGABEN FÜR DIE 1. KLASSE

Dear Students and Parents:

This is the new list of spelling texts / spelling words which will be tested every Tuesday.  Homework assignments will be due the same day.  The homework will consist of the following:

  1. Write the English meaning under each sentence.  Try to do it alone!  This is not to be done together with #2 !
  2. Copy vocabulary words / texts three times -- not each sentence 3 times...!

To all parents:

Lower and upper case letters are not the same in German.  Therefore, it is important the child makes a clear distinction when writing upper and lower case letters.  It seems we can move to writing in one line making sure that the upper case letters really fill the line from top to bottom.

            Ein alter Ofen, ein kleines Sofa

            und ein alter Koffer.

            und lange schlafen.
