SUNSET ELEMENTARY PTA

Objectives of a PTA

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community.

To raise the standards of home life.

To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

Sunset Elementary PTA Goals 2000/2001

1.) To promote parent education.

2.) To promote teacher appreciation.

3.) To promote student appreciation.

4.) To advocate on behalf of students at Sunset Elementary.

5.) To provide service to the Sunset Community for the betterment of students.

6.) To organize, promote and conduct fund-raising activities to financially support these goals.
